Review : Great attention to Robby the Robots detail
This item has excellent detail and operation, It is solidly build. It comes with batteries included, lights up and speaks several phrases in the original Robby the Robot voice.
There is a pressure switch on Robbies side to activate him.
When activated, the chest plate lights up along with the mouth of the robot. The head has no lights in it.
As a collectors Item it is a must have.
The cons:
This thing is tiny, Just like the description says, it is an ornament to be hung from a christmas tree.
It even has a hook loop comming out of it's head (something I failed to notice in the images). At 4 1/2" tall it originally sold for less than $20 when it was released by Halmark in 2009.
Prices have risen to ridiculous amounts, over $70 dollars in some places. If you are buying this as a collectors item you need to move quick.
