Review : weak as a malnourished kitten
First off, I understand that this kit is fragile. I should have done more research before buying this kit. However, it broke after 3 flights. First flight snapped the landing gear off from landing in grass. Second flight, the plane landed on its nose at about a 15 degree angle and nearly ripped the plane in half. I was able to fly it through one more battery on the third flight and as I was coming in to land the plane shot erratically to the right and down landing nose first like a bomb and exploded like one as well. Why on Earth would Great Planes make such a flimsy product? EPP would have been a much better foam choice. I have since bought a kit from another manufacturer and it is made from EPP and extremely durable. This plane is made out of 3mm Depron and I should not have bought it. Fortunately I can use the gear out of this for my EPP build.
