Review : Train set that grows with your child.
We bought this for our grandson when he was 4 after first buying a lego train set that was way too advanced for him to put together. He is now 5 and still loves it and is getting good at configuring the tracks different ways. I am sure it will keep him entertained a few more years until he is ready for an advanced train set. It is very well made and we have not had one part break.
The great thing about this brand is you can buy several different GeoTrax sets or extra tracks and put them all together. The possibilities are endless. With a couple of engines to run, more than one child can play at a time. Grandpa and grandson have spent many hours just building crazy configurations.
The downside is the speed of the trains are too slow and we really go through the batteries. Wish Fisher Price would take into consideration how boys at this age like "things that go fast".
