The days of the Dauntless are gone but you can bring them back. The Dauntless features top quality construction materials. The kit is made almost entirely of 1/8 in. mahogany plywood. All parts are cleanly die-cut, and we have included a variety of detail parts including 38 cast metal fittings. Length 49-1/2 inches Beam 14 inches Scale 3/4 in. to 1 ft. Skill level 3. Assembly Required.

This is in NO WAY a Beginer's Boat...I have put two of them together in the past years, If planning on make it for R/C ..the hull is all wood as for the hole boat. Need a very large area to work in as well to put it all together. This is a very large Boat..my boat has twin 550 motors, Twin Spc 100 amt. 4 channel radio, runs on 12v system. lighting ... I put over $900 into make this boat. resale should be good as well to if you sell it. Good Luck..
